Listowel’s Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario ReStore officially closed its doors on Sept. 2 after first opening them five years ago at its Rocher Road location. The Listowel ReStore accepted donations of household furnishings and building supplies which were in turn sold at discounted prices to assist in ongoing Habitat for Humanity building projects; a lack of donations and subsequent sales during pandemic restrictions ultimately didn’t allow the outlet to recover, forcing its closure.
