BROCKTON – The South Bruce OPP are investigating a fatal car crash that happened at the intersection of Highway 9 at Bruce Road 3, west of Walkerton.
The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 22). Members of the South Bruce OPP, Walkerton Fire Department and Bruce County Paramedic Service responded to the scene.
One of the drivers was taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. On Aug. 25, police identified the deceased as Vivian Hilmi, 56, of Scarborough.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
