NORTH PERTH – Police have closed a portion of Line 87 in North Perth to investigate a crash between an ATV and a pick-up truck.
Perth County OPP, the North Perth Fire Department and Perth County EMS responded to the crash at 7:39 a.m. on Monday morning. Police say the crash happened on Line 87 at Road 175.
One person has been transported to hospital, and the extent of the injuries are unknown at this time. Police did not say what vehicle the person sent to hospital was operating.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash. For the protection of emergency responders and to facilitate the investigation, Line 87 between Road 171 and 176 is closed until further notice.
The OPP is asking motorists to avoid the area.
