MILVERTON – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Perth East resident after an assault during a domestic occurrence.
Police were called to a residence on Pacific Avenue in the Township of Perth East just after 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, for an assault that had just occurred. The victim received minor injuries as a result.
A 38-year-old resident of Perth East has been arrested and charged with assault – spousal. The accused has been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
