PERTH COUNTY – Further charges have been laid against an Etobicoke resident as a result of an ongoing investigation in Perth County.
On Oct. 18, 2021, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service, arrested and charged one person with abduction of person under 14.
On March 22, Corygon Allicock, 36, of Etobicoke, was arrested and charged with invitation to sexual touching of a person under 16 years of age, contrary to Section 152 Criminal Code – two counts, luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication for a sexual purpose, contrary to Section CC 172.1(1)(b) Criminal Code, failure to comply with recognizance, contrary to Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code.
The accused, who was held in custody pending a bail hearing, was previously charged with abduction of a person under 14, contrary to Section 281 of the Criminal Code.
Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety.
