PERTH EAST – Percon Developments Inc. has officially broken ground at the site of its new industrial subdivision in Perth East.
Located at the south end of Milverton (6322 Perth Road 131), the industrial subdivision
will bring employment to the region and provide an opportunity for home-grown Perth East businesses to expand in the community. The industrial subdivision will also serve as a landing spot for new business investment and will help further diversify the economic base in Perth East and Perth County.
The 86.5-acre subdivision will cater to a variety of uses, including agriculture and agricultural-related businesses. A variety of lot sizes and configurations from 1.21 acres to 13.51 acres will create opportunities for a wide range of business sizes.
The project was undertaken to meet a need for industrial land in Perth East and Perth County to accommodate growing businesses, which until now, may have been forced to look elsewhere.
“We are excited to host this ceremonial ground-breaking today and to officially share this milestone with members of the community and the local officials here today,” said Anthony Ropp of Percon Developments Inc. on March 24. “This project has been in development for some time and to finally break ground is the culmination of a tremendous amount of work by our team.”
