GORRIE – A large police presence was seen in the village of Gorrie on Thursday, Aug. 15 responding to a family dispute.
“The OPP officers in Gorrie responded to a family dispute where an individual was eventually arrested after some negotiating,” Provincial Constable Craig Soldan said in an email to Midwestern Newspapers.
He added that it was an isolated incident at a single residence, however, no further details were provided as the police investigation is ongoing.
