NORTH PERTH – On Dec. 28 at approximately 1:55 p.m., Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the assistance of West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and crisis negotiators responded to a check well-being call that took place at a residence on Road 164 just north of Atwood.
As a result, police contained the residence and activated specialized units. The situation was resolved. Road 164 between Line 77 and Line 78 was closed for four hours while police attended the scene.
