William Stanley Small, age 59, of London, Ontario and formerly of Wingham, passed away peacefully with his son at his side on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Listowel, son of the late Keith and Lorna (McPherson) Small. Father of Travis (Ashley) Small and Sarah (Jason) Russo. Grandfather of his beloved grandchildren, Austin Small, Brynn Small, Gage Illman, Ryder Forrestall Small, Ethan Russo, Kaylee Russo, and Nicholas Russo. Stan is survived by his siblings, Debbie (Marvin) Morrison and Patty (Paul) Fischer and his nieces and nephews. Stan spent most of his life in the carpentry business in and around Southwestern Ontario. Stan loved his grandchildren, his friends and family, and always loved to have a good time. His wishes were to be cremated and a private family scattering of his ashes will take place. Stan’s family would like to thank all the wonderful doctor’s, nurses, and staff at Stratford General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion shown towards Stan and his family.
