It is with great love and respect that we announce the peaceful passing of a dear husband, dad, stepdad, grandfather and great grandfather. At 86, Bill lived a full life starting out on a farm in Pembroke, Ont. moving to Kitchener to work at Uniroyal, finally marrying Doris Annett in 1982 where he found his ‘forever’ home in Listowel as a member of the extended Johnston and Annett families. He was blessed with wonderful neighbours and enjoyed the company of friends from Knox Presbyterian Church and the Listowel Legion.
Predeceased by his wife, Doris, brother Emmett (Nelda), Francis (Mary), sister Mary (Bruce), brother–in-law Danny Venasse, and grandson Daniel. He is loved and missed by his sister Cathy Venasse, daughter Crystal Beale (Ed), and son Steven Paulusse (Jennifer), grandchildren Kristy Lee (Ryan), Michael (Jenna), Katelynn (Matt), Kelsey (Nate), Jordon and 6 great grandchildren.
Much loved by his step-daughters, Heather (Bob MacNeil) and Joan Watson as well as grandchildren Andrew MacNeil, Lauren Stopper (Kel), and Spencer MacNeil and 2 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of his Life was held on Monday. January 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, followed by a reception at the Listowel Legion, Parkview Gardens.
Memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Br. 259 (Listowel) would be appreciated.
