Vivien Evelyn (Turner) Cober of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Fordwich Village Nursing Home, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in her 82nd year.
Loving wife of Glen Cober. Mother of Ken Cober & Michelle Turner of Oakland, California, Steve & Katherine Cober of Sackville, New Brunswick, Sharon & Rick Cressman of Elmira, and Linda & Steve Boyd of Fordwich. Grandmother of Lucas Cober, Chelsea Cober & Sam Swift, Josh Cober, Quinn Cober & Jarrett Weston, Zoe Cober, Tuesday Cober, Gaelen Cober, Tully Cober, Tucker Cober, Kipling Cober, Casey & Bryan Horn, Blaine & Leah Cressman, Liam & Nikki Cressman, and Tyler Boyd & Alyssa Lidow. Great-grandmother of Penny, Maggie, Aubrey, Logan, Norah, Reuben, Carter, Hailey, and Levi.
Sister of Bill & Donna Turner of Palmerston, Richard & Peggy Turner of Caledon, David Turner of Bluevale, Brian & Judy Turner of London, and Don Turner of Kitchener. Sister-in-law of Ellen & Bruce Kennedy of Fordwich, Peter & Marilyn Cober of Toronto, Clayton Cober of Fordwich, Lloyd & Ellen Cober of Waterloo, Ruth & Bruce Hoover of Waterford, Phyllis & Doug Barfoot of Wingham, and Arlene Cober of North Carolina. Loved and remembered also by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Harold & Evelyn (Carruthers) Turner, brothers-in-law Jimmy Cober, Roy Cober, Lorne Seifert, and by her sister-in-law Mary Turner.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Family interment service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Fordwich. The celebration of Vivien’s life will follow at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with reception to follow in the church hall. The service will be livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
