Twyla Jacklin

Twyla Leona (McKinnon) Jacklin of Listowel, and formerly of Molesworth passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Jacklin.  Mother of Elaine & Brian Armstrong of Ethel, Kim Jacklin of Listowel, Joanne & Les Stafford of Wingham, Joe & Jill Jacklin of St. Jacobs, and the late Larry Jacklin. Grandmother of Dr. David & Stephanie Armstrong of Kemptville, Chris & Holly Armstrong of Palmerston, Richard & Stephanie Armstrong of Wroxeter, Laura & Peter Edgar of Blyth, Dena & Richard Hern of Exeter, Ryan Davidson & his friend Meagan of Listowel, Leah & Colin Booth of Woodstock, Jaclyn & Eric Miltenburg of Lucknow, Lance & Lauren Stafford of Durham, Landon Stafford & his friend Jennifer of Hawarden, SK, and Blake, Delaney, and Claire Jacklin, all of St. Jacobs.  Great-grandmother of Wren, Julie, Carter, Maya, Kipp, Cassie, Kailyn, Trent, Jane, Silas, Anya, Owen, Brie, Tori, Elsa, Brielle, and Tyson.  Sister-in-law of Sharon Grubb of Clifford.  Also sadly missed by the Elg family.

Predeceased by her parents Morris & Till (Stanley) McKinnon, sister Marilyn in infancy, brothers Gordon McKinnon and Jack McKinnon, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Evelyn & Weldon Nichol, Marjorie & Stan Bray, Della & Sterling Hood, Myrtle Jacklin, Archie & Doris Jacklin, Glen Jacklin, and Bob Grubb.

Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, October 27 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service was held at Melville Presbyterian Church, Brussels on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.

Memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Molesworth or Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
