Terrence “Terry” Kew Kerrigan

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Terrence “Terry” Kew Kerrigan, a cherished pillar of the Walkerton community. Terry departed from this world on Thursday, January 18, 2024, while at Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound, concluding a journey of 81 years marked by love, resilience, and an indomitable spirit.

Terry’s legacy is lovingly carried forward by his children, Cheryl (Doug) Weber of Gilford, and Dwayne (Tennille) of Fenelon Falls. He was a beacon of wisdom and joy for his grandchildren, Lindsay, Kayla (Joel), Spencer, and Savannah, and his adoration shone brightly as a great-grandfather to Grace. His memory is also treasured by his siblings, Paul of Brampton and Susan of Peterborough, who together shared a lifetime of cherished moments and familial bonds.

Predeceased by his devoted wife, Sharon (nee Wight), his brother John (Marlene), sister-in-law Carole Ann, and his parents, James and Helen Kerrigan, Terry’s presence remains a guiding light for all who knew him.

The community is warmly invited to join in a Celebration of Life for Terry, honoring a man whose existence was a tapestry of heartfelt connections and enduring friendships. This tribute will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024. A dedicated time of remembrance will commence at 2:00 p.m., allowing us to collectively reflect on the remarkable journey that was Terry’s life.

As expressions of sympathy, the family encourages donations to Easter Seals or the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation, a gesture that reflects Terry’s enduring commitment to fostering community strength and support. Donations and condolences may be forwarded through the compassionate services of www.cameronfuneralhomes.com.

As we bid farewell to Terry Kerrigan, let us find comfort in the knowledge that his legacy endures through each life he touched, each memory shared, and every heart he warmed with his unwavering kindness and unforgettable smile.
