Susan Marie Peters (nee Heipel) passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, surrounded by family at Listowel Memorial Hospital, at the age of 73.
She was born on September 25, 1952 in Cambridge, Ontario. She lived in Cambridge, Port Carling, Temagami and then the last years of her life in Listowel, Ontario. She was known for her laughter and joy of life, and will be missed by her fur baby “Joey”.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Ross Peters. Daughter of the late Gordon and Marie Heipel. Predeceased by her sister Lynn Heipel. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother John (late Bonnie) Heipel, nieces Jennifer (Maitry) and Kimberly (James), and her great nieces and nephew. She will also be missed by her many friends and incredible community in Listowel, Ontario.
We would like to say a sincere thank you to Dr Cameron, nurses and staff at Listowel Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion during her final days.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Listowel Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
