Ronald Gerald Hill of Teeswater, passed away after a brief illness, at Wingham and District Hospital, with family by his side, on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, at age 90.
Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Hill (née Lamont) who predeceased him in March 2019.
Cherished father of Laurie Hill of Calgary, Lynne Koverko (Gary) of Toronto, Lisa Armstrong (Jamie) of Culross Township, Moira Hill of Calgary, Michele Hill (Brad Budd) of Orangeville and Ronald Hill (Ania) of Kitchener.
Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Lindsay, Nicholas (Samantha), Aaron, Mieke (Kyle), Lisa (Anand), Tyler, Trevor, Laurel, Daniel, David (Kara), Aaron (Amanda), Adam (Yvette) and Milena (Aaron) and great-grandchildren Chloe, Caleb, Bowen, Nova and Noah.
Survived by sister-in-law Elaine Mauer, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Alice (née Condy) Hill and siblings, Ruth Hill, Marjorie Learned (Hugh), Edith Mahood (Cecil), Harold “Roy” Hill (Daphne), Murray Hill and Barry Hill.
Visitation was held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The funeral service to honour Ron’s life was conducted from Teeswater United Church on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Bonnie Mair officiating.
Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
