Frederick George ‘Rick’ Freeman of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in his 77th year.
Husband of Wendy (Cox) Freeman. Proud father of Michael Freeman & Andrea Gebbie of Wellesley, and Krista Freeman of Clifford, and grandfather of Matthew, Morghan, MacKenzie, and Avinley.
Rick will be missed by many, especially his beloved grandchildren, his uncle Ted and Aunt Mary Floyd, Syd and Jeannine Floyd, and their families. Also remembered by brother and sister in-law Sherryl and Alex Smith, John Cox and Pat Lane and their families. Rick was very proud of his children. His grandchildren were so special to him as was his daughter in-law Andrea Gebbie Freeman. Avinley Marie, Krista’s daughter was very close to Pop Pop and he enjoyed her so much. Poppa was very proud of Morghan and Matthew, Mike’s children, and his stepdaughter MacKenzie, was a great addition to the family.
Friends and family are welcome to a Celebration of Rick’s life at the Listowel Golf Club (8380 Fairlane Road, Listowel) on Sunday, April 27, 2024 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
