Myrtle Marie (Gabel) Nethercott of Listowel passed away at Caressant Care on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in her 105th year.
Beloved wife of the late Roy Nethercott (2005).
Dear mother of Bruce & Sandra Nethercott of Walkerton.
Loved grandmother of Kevin & Joanna Nethercott of Listowel, Phil Nethercott & Sarah Megens of Guelph.
Great-grandmother of Jesse Nethercott & Chiara D’Agnolo, and Jacob & Bekah Nethercott. Sister-in-law of Mamie Gabel of Mississauga.
Predeceased by her brothers Earl Gabel, and Harold & Irene Gabel, and by her brother-in-law Ken Nethercott and his wife Helen.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
