Having lived a full and wonderful life, Jessie Florence Stratychuk passed away suddenly yet peacefully on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, at Royal Terrace Residential Care in Palmerston. Florence was to turn 95 years old in December of this year.
Florence was predeceased by her husband of 72 years Bill Stratychuk on April 19, 2022 as well as her parents Watson & Mabel Brown & her brother Edgar. Florence is survived by her son Brian Stratychuk of Grand Bend and daughter Anne (Richard) Keeso of Listowel. She was blessed with grandchildren Lisa (Jerry) Cartwright, Alan (Jacqueline) Keeso, Jared (Magali) Keeso, Abigail (Christopher) Hopkins, as well as five great-grandchildren Hailey & Ava Cartwright, Ezra Keeso and Clementine & Winnifred Hopkins, as well as sister-in-law Shirley Brown.
A private family “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 at Listowel Community Family Funeral Home at 11 am. Interment Molesworth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy would be appreciated to Ukrainian Relief, c/o Canadian Red Cross, 400 Cooper Street, Suite 8000, Ottawa, ON K2P 2H8 or Royal Terrace Resident’s Council, 600 Whites Road, Palmerston, ON NOG 2PO would be appreciated.
