It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth (Piep) Winkler announce her passing on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025 at the age of 93 at Caressant Care, Listowel, Ontario.
Beloved wife to the late William Allen Winkler. Elizabeth was born in Northeim, Germany to Walter & Luise Bode.
Famile ist wo Leben beginnt, und Liebe niemals endet!
Family is where life begins, and love never ends!
Survived by: Constanze Ruttan (Alex), Mary Jane Doering, Barb Hoffman (Randy) and much loved Daughters of the heart: Sherri Brown (Bob) and Brenda Henderson (Dave). Predeceased by son, Glen Winkler.
Grandmother to: Alexis, Steve, Sasha, Bryan, Shaun, Patty, Chris, Tina, Jeremy, Tyler, Tracy Ann, Desiree, Destiney, Shawn, Heather, Katie, Pam, Sam, Michael & Violet. Predeceased by Grandsons: Joshua & Derek. Loving Great Grandmother to many Great Grandchildren and will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Also survived by: Hugo Bode, Wilhelm & Renate Bode, Marie Stiles, Donna Bode, Uschi Bode, Vivian Mannus, Vic Gauvreau, Bob Doering.
Predeceased by: Karl Bode, Heiner & Ingrid Bode, Walter & Dagmar Bode, Fritz Bode, Herta & Joachim Hilse, Kathy Bode, David Stiles, Shirley Gauvrea, Grant & Kathy Miller.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, c/o Bob & Myra Trench, 8372 Fairlane Road, Listowel, ON N4W 3H2.
Visitation commencing at 10 a.m. & Service at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Michael Mayer.
