Maxine Scholl passed away peacefully with family by her side at Listowel Memorial Hospital on October 23, 2025, at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Scholl (1992). Loving mother of Mary Helen (Ken) Dale of Stratford, Kevin “Cubby” Scholl of Atwood, Tanya (Lloyd) Kuepfer of Britton and the late Ron Scholl. Cherished grandmother of Joe (Karen) Scholl, Jeff (Shannon) Scholl, Kristy (Jamie) Taylor, Josh Dale (Sonja), Shane (Mai) Dale, Steven (Chelsea) Scholl, Lisa (Darryl) Dewar, Jackson Kuepfer, Lucas Kuepfer and the late Johnathan Scholl. Great grandmother of 10 with one on the way. Survived by her brother-in-law Fred Scholl and sister-in-law Doris Gordon. Predeceased by her siblings, Marion, Helen, Marg, Frank, Joe, Bud and Don. Maxine was a dedicated member of the Atwood Presbyterian Church.

Visitation took place at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St Atwood, on Wednesday October 29th, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday October 30th at the funeral home.
