Marryl (neé MacKenzie) Ebanks – died with dignity on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at University Hospital. Her love of her family, close friends and students and her positive outlook touched all who knew her. She found the best in everyone.
Born in Walkerton, Ontario, June 25th, 1941. Those who knew Marryl were moved by her kind and generous spirit and sweet smile. Her strong and resilient nature lives on in her daughter Natasha Ebanks Richardson, son-in-law Harry Richardson and grandson Marley. Sister to Judge Robert MacKenzie, sister-in-law to Joanne (Davies) MacKenzie.
Predeceased by her parents Judge Stuart and Lillian MacKenzie. Music, teaching and travel filled her life. She was richly rewarded by deep friendships, a kind former husband Eddie Ebanks, and the compassionate care of doctors and health care workers.
A memorial service will be conducted at Colborne Street United Church, 711 Colborne Street, London on Saturday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or the Humane Society London & Middlesex would be appreciated.
