Marion Joyce (Wallace) O’Brien of Listowel passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends, at University Hospital, London, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in her 65th year.
Beloved wife of Keith O’Brien for 18 years. Loving mom to her dogs, Levi & Rebound.
Beloved little sister to Isabel & Don Senek of Clifford, Lucille Seiler of Palmerston, Gordon Wallace of Fergus, Linda Hoffele of Kurtzville, Betty & Wayne Gottfried of Clifford, and Ben Wallace of Palmerston, and ‘auntie’ to many nieces and nephews.
Marion was predeceased by her parents Wesley & Alma (Fallis) Wallace, brothers-in-law Ken Seiler and Bert Hoffele, and sister-in-law Lyn (Andrews) Wallace.
Marion was born in Palmerston on June 7, 1961. In recent years, she struggled with her health but was always glad to help others and most recently worked at 2nd Chances in Listowel. She enjoyed reading tarot cards and was very intuitive. Marion enjoyed Egyptology from her time with the Sheraton Centre and Kon Tiki Tours. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion, 565 Elizabeth St. E., Listowel) on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. with message at 1:00 p.m.
Interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Listowel Legion Br. 259 would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
