Marie Smith, 92 of Listowel and formerly of Nepean passed peacefully in the presence of the compassionate staff of Huronlea Nursing Home, Brussels on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Stewart Smith (2014). Dear sister-in-law of Diane Osborn of Mitchell, Ron Sangster of Stratford, Richard Murdie of Port Albert and Diane M. Osborn of Listowel. Also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Wellington and Ila (Francis) Osborn, brothers Hugh Osborn and Ross Osborn, sister Grace Cole (Jack), sisters-in-law Jean Sangster and Eleanor Murdie, brothers-in-law Ernie Smith, Morris Smith (Marion) and Jack Smith (Ruby).
A graveside service at North Logan Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Huronlea Nursing Home or North Logan Cemetery would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
