Marguerite was a loving wife and mother of four. Her husband Roy often mentioned how lucky he was to have her. She enjoyed rural life and worked hard in the home and on the farm. She valued her faith and enjoyed reading her bible daily. A devoted member of the Wallace and Zion United Churches; and an active member of the UCW, where she enjoyed quilting along with other members. She loved playing her piano at home and singing her favourite hymns; which she continued to do at Royal Terrace. There are many happy family memories doing puzzles, playing scrabble and crokinole. She continued to be a good crokinole player, still scoring 20’s even in her later years.
The grandchildren thought her chocolate chip cookies were the best and no one seemed to be able to duplicate them. Perhaps that’s the reason the cookies were often seen at Wallace Vacation Bible School.
Mom had a good life and has touched many. We will all miss her.
