At Braemar Nursing Home in Wingham on Friday, September 19th, 2025, Margaret (Heibein) Underwood formerly of Gorrie passed away at the age of 88.
Cherished wife of the late Glenn Underwood who predeceased her in 2002.
Loving mother of Karen & Bill Ross of R.R.#1, Wingham.
Dear grandma of Jess Gibson of Fordwich and Jordan & Brittany Ross of Teeswater and great-grandma of Austin, Caleb, Bria and Brycen.
Sister of Wilma Williamson of Wingham and sister-in-law of Merle Underwood of Wingham and Marion Underwood of Kincardine.
Margaret will be missed by her nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her sister Jean (Freeman) Ingleton, brother Bill (Joyce) Heibein and brothers-in-law Murray and Allan Underwood.
A private funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham with interment at Gorrie Cemetery. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at the Howick Community Centre on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Howick Optimist Club would be appreciated.
