Lois Lorraine (Vick) Dobson of Listowel passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in her 75th year.
Wife of Jim Dobson. Mother of Rob Williams of Gowanstown, Lesley Heipel & Bob Wilkieson of Harriston, Terry & Tannis Williams of Wroxeter, Heather Dobson & Will Sawyers of Shelburne, Tammy & Jeff Cronin of Glenboro, Manitoba, and Kim Dobson & Sean Porter of Thamesford. Lois will be sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, and she had her first great-grandchild on the way.
Sister of Don & Pat Vick of Listowel, and sister-in-law of Allan Dobson of Palmerston, Ruth & Wayne Ward of St. Thomas, Donna & Roger Smith of Simcoe, Norm Dobson of Listowel, and Darlene & Kevin Nichol of Tottenham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Leslie & Aldeen (Ducklow) Vick, brother Bob Vick and his wife Pat, parents-in-law Bill & Helen Dobson, and sister-in-law Barb Dobson.
A private family service was held, with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. A public celebration of Lois’ life was held at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion) on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
