Linus Alexander Kraemer of Walkerton passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Hanover & District Hospital in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Helen and father to Jane (Brian) Pritchard of Hanover, Jeff (Bonnie) of Riversdale, Michelle (Vic) Schmidt of Mildmay, Val (Jim) Eddyvean of Greenock, and Dennis (Kristine) Kraemer of Kinloss. He will be lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and great grandson. Linus will be missed by his sisters Florentine Newman of Walkerton, Anita Read of Alliston, sister-in-law Eleanor Kraemer of Kinloss, and the Waechter In-laws. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Linus is predeceased by his siblings Marie, Harold, Lorne, Margaret, brother-in-law Jack Read, and parents Alexander and Delema (nee Lorentz) Kraemer.
Visitation was from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Cameron’s in Walkerton.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Sacred Heart Church.
Spring interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
