With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and papa, Larry George Morse, at home in Listowel, on Sunday, November 13, 2022, in his 77th year.
Husband of Charlene (Cook) Morse. Father of Chantelle & Scott Vader of Listowel, and the late Jason Morse (2005), and adoring papa of Brinley and Riley.
Brother of Murray Morse & Nancy Roaderick of Florida, brother-in-law of Betty Morse of Listowel, Joyce Cook of London, Faye & Bob Slatter of Thedford, nephew of Nancy Bowman of Listowel, and remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents Lloyd & Ruby (Smith) Morse, parents-in-law Arthur & Reta Cook, nephew David Morse, and brothers-in-law Brian Cook and Dennis Cook.
For anyone who knew Larry, they knew he was always there to lend a helping hand and would do anything for anyone. He had a great passion for his cars and trucks, especially if they were the colour red. He enjoyed all the neighbourhood dogs and had a special treat for each one of them. He was always up to having a drink with any family member or friends. Larry would wash his vehicles every single day and there could never be a speck of dirt on them. Larry touched many lives and loved everyone. He had a special bond with each person he had a connection with.
Visitation was held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Wednesday, November 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service was held at Listowel Baptist Church on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ed McLean officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
