Kevin Gray of Walkerton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Jessica’s House Hospice, Exeter on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Lynn Gray for over 47 years.
Cherished father of Adam, Dennis (Lisa), and Carolyn (Jordan). Proud granddad to Taylor, Ryan, and Julia. Dear brother of Rob (Sue) Gray, and Mary (the late Sam) Young. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Margaret Gray and parents-in-law Burke and Geraldine Stannard.
Kevin was a longtime resident of Walkerton who dedicated his life to education and community, inspiring generations of students as a beloved teacher, vice principal, and coach at Sacred Heart High School. He was fondly remembered by many as one of their favourite teachers, known for his kindness, dedication, and genuine care. Summers were spent alongside his wife, building a successful perennial business, spending countless hours outdoors, and transforming their property into a beautiful space full of life and colour. A proud supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he loved cheering on his team every season. His loyalty and commitment also shone through in his friendships, as he rarely missed his treasured weekly breakfast with close friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. Donations to Jessica’s House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
