Joyce Marie Long (Downing) of Listowel and formerly of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon Long (2005). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Marion and Steve Mann of Trowbridge, the late Rodney Long
(2005) and Kim Long and Richard of Listowel. Cherished grandmother and
great grandmother of Jeanette and Keith Givens, Daniel, Kora and Lily, Crystal and Trevor Powell and Riley, , Alan and Jen McArthur, Declan and Ailysh, Ken Mann and Ethan Long. Sister of John and Mary Downing of Toronto. Joyce will be sadly missed by so many friends and family. A private family service will be held in the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston followed by interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of
sympathy donations to the Listowel Baptist Church of the Caressant Care Listowel, Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
