Jorge Manuel Couto of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in his 74th year.
Husband of Delores (Neves) Couto Father of Linda Couto & Chris Roe of Newry, and Jason & Michelle Couto of Listowel. Grandfather of Dezirae, Vanessa, Isla, and Ani. Brother of Jose & Almirinda Couto of Listowel, Father Lucio Couto of Strathroy, Alda & Frank Toledo of Toronto, Nellie & Wayne Mombourquette of Toronto, Louis Couto of Vancouver, B.C., and John Couto of Newmarket. Brother-in-law of Laudilina & Frank Dias of Listowel, Lucy & Manuel Toste of Listowel, Luis & Lyn Neves of Hanover, and Rob & Colleen Neves of London. Survived also by several nieces and nephews.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Listowel, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Spring interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
