John Lusted of Drayton and formerly of Waterloo passed away peacefully at the Elliott Community Guelph, on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in his 76th year.
Much loved husband of the late Sylvia Lusted (2019) of 49 years.
Dear father of Shad and Jeneane Lusted of Waterloo and Tasha and Brian Post of Drayton. Cherished “Papa John” and “Grandpa City” of Ciara, Breanna, Raine, Makenzie and Brody and Great Grandpa to Briar. Brother of Robert Lusted, Stephen Lusted and Diane Bowman. Brother-in-law of Patricia Kennedy, Faith Campbell and Evelyn Crafts. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. John enjoyed coaching in the Waterloo Minor Hockey Association for many years and worked at Raytheon Canada Limited in Waterloo.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Elliott Community for their compassionate care.
To honour John’s wishes cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donation to the 1959 Memorial Park, Listowel (cheques payable to Map59) would be appreciated
by the family.
