Joan (Scott) Polley of Pickering, and formerly of Listowel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Bay Ridges LTC, Pickering, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in her 93rd year.
Wife of the late Stanley Polley (2020).
Mother of Lorraine & Blair Burns of Listowel, Glenn & Diane Polley of Pickering, Bryan & Fiona Polley of Norland, and Dean & Diane Polley of Lakehurst.
Grandmother of Erin & Dave Westra, Kevin & Miranda Burns, Julie & Kevin Van Andel, Scott & Amy Polley, Andrew & Natasha Polley, Brendon Polley, Grant Polley, Katlyn & Josh Jealouse, Steven Polley & friend Kate, and Neil Polley & fiancée Lorraine.
Great-grandmother of Sullivan and Harrison Westra; Sawyer, Brynn and Thatcher Burns; Hailey and Mason Van Andel; Zachary, Madison and Brooklyn Polley; and “baby” Jealouse (April 2026).
Predeceased by her parents William (1941) and Lillian (1975) (Shepherd) Scott; brother Ronald (2000) and his wife Norah (2014) (Gorman) Scott.
A Celebration of Joan’s life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
