Janet Pommer of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in her 86th year.
Wife of Art Pommer. Mother of Peter Pommer, grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 13. Sister of Shirley & Ted Sivyer of Kitchener.
Predeceased by her daughter Betty McCulloch and husband Gerald, sister Jean Anderchek and husband Lorne, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Helen & David Eicher, Catherine & William Becker, Esther & Isador Prince, Ruth & Irvin Schneider, Ruby & Lorne Lingelback, and Sanford & Francis Pommer, and by her parents Gordon & Margaret (Bettschen) Newmaster.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service was held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
