Farming was in his blood.  Jim started farming as a young man with his dad on the family farm (Conlee Farms) and continued to farm for many years with his youngest brother Ralph and alongside his brother George.  Even after retirement and moving off the farm in 2006, his interest and passion in farming remained until his final days.  Jim also had a great love for trees, and if one could be planted, it was.  In retirement, he enjoyed restoring his three Ferguson tractors and travelling.
