Ivan Weldon Walters of Listowel, and formerly of Sauble Beach, Palmerston, and Harriston, passed away at Livingstone Manor, Listowel, with his family by his side, on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in his 95th year.
Husband of the late Audrey (Self) Walters. Father of Wayne Walters of London, Diane & Brian Walkom of Mitchell, and Barbara Wakeford of Palmerston, and father-in-law of Beverly Walters of Clifford. Remembered by his grandchildren Angela Walters & Lionel Heffernan, Nicholas Walters & Melissa Kohorst, Rebecca Walters, Stacy & Justin Burnett, Matthew Ballantyne & Baily Bulmer, Ashley & Matt Mitchell, Joshua Wakeford, and Madison Wakeford, and by his great-grandchildren Destiny Walters, Trent Walters, Rachael Heffernan, Austin Buchanan, and Zoe Mitchell.
Predeceased by his parents Gordon & Almeda (Quanz) Walters, sons Bruce Walters, and Larry Walters, and by his sister Dorrell Boles and her husband Ken.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 am. The service will be livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website. Interment in Harriston Cemetery will be held following the reception.
