Husband of Etoile (Moffatt) Johnston.
Father of Arlene & Mark Borho of Formosa, and Stephen & Didi Johnston of Lakeshore.
Grandfather of Taylor & Adam Johns of West Bloomfield, MI, Sarah Borho of Formosa, and Dylan Malcolmson of Hamilton, and great-grandfather of Raelynn and Zoey.
Brother-in-law of Floyd & Janet Moffatt of Ayr, Keith & Marg Moffatt of Bluevale, and Brian & Linda Moffatt of Goderich.
Harold will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his parents Charlie & Ella (Barnard) Johnston, brothers Bob Johnston and Jim & Sue Johnston, parents-in-law Burns & Ethel Moffatt, sister-in-law Norma & Glenn Golley, and nephew Rick Johnston.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
