Glen Earl Omand of R.R. 1, Listowel passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in his 69th year.
Husband of Anne (Koch) Omand. Father of Seth & Christina Omand of Fordwich, Scott & Laura Omand of R.R.1, Listowel, Shawn & Angela Omand of Conception Bay, Newfoundland.
Grandfather of Sonya & Chris Beimers, Nathaniel, Jared, Liam, Benn, Sawyer, Maison, Madison, and Josh.
Brother of Neil & Joyce Omand, Lois & Ron McLaughlin, and Wayne & Sue Omand, all of Listowel, son-in-law of Joyce Koch of Fordwich, and brother-in-law of Gerry & Shirley Koch of Gowanstown, Sandra Deschamps & John Hunt of Ethel, and Karen Murray of Edmonton.
Predeceased by his parents Melvin & Irene (Coulter) Omand, father-in-law Allan Koch, and brother-in-law Sean Murray.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A private funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Listowel, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. The service will be live-streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website.
Interment in Hollen Cemetery.
