Frances (Wilson) Broome Harrington of Victoria, BC and formerly of Wingham passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the age of 99 years.
Wife of the late James Broome and the late Stan Harrington.
Mother of Bob & Joyce Broome of Milverton, and John & Betty-Ann Broome of Victoria, BC.
Grandmother of Michael Broome of Milverton, Jay Broome of Kearney, Deb & Scott Rinn of St. Marys, Ken Broome of Elmira, Laurie & Peter Sachs of St. Thomas, and Ian & Jen Broome, and Darren Broome, all of Victoria, BC.
Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her son Keith Broome and his wife Linda.
A private burial will be held at Wingham Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Wingham Legion on Friday, August 1, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated, and may be made through McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
