Everille (Ev) Siobhan Davison

Everille (Ev) Siobhan Davison of Cambridge and Owen Sound passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in her 71st year, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph.

Mother of Amanda Robinson (Brett) of Cambridge, and Jamie Harrald (Meagan) of Wroxeter. Fun and loving Grandmother to Claire Robinson; and Lochlan and Paisley Harrald.

Sister to Barbara Hood (Clare) of Listowel; and Shirley Foote (Jamie) of Fordwich; and biological brother Kenneth Harrison.

Everille was dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews and will be missed very much.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy Davison of Wallaceville and Mildred and Joe Harrison of Burlington, brothers Doug Harrison, John Harrison, and sister Joyce Cormier.

Ev loved the outdoors, animals, and physical activity. In her spare time, she could be found walking or biking with her beloved dogs throughout Owen Sound or down trails. She also enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and just being outside enjoying what nature had to offer. She also looked forward to the holidays where she would out do herself by spoiling her grandchildren, dressing up, decorating, and just spending time with her loved ones.

Ev will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and we should all find comfort knowing that she will back in the good hands of her maker and with her loving parents, siblings, pets and cherished friends.

A private graveside gathering will be held at the Listowel Cemetery where her family and friends will honour and celebrate her life.

Ev’s family would like to acknowledge the caring and compassionate doctors at the Juravinski Cancer Centre (Dr. Nidhi Kumar Tyagi and Dr. Elysia Donovan), and Cambridge Memorial Hospital/Grand River Hospital (Dr. Joda Kuk, Dr. Shelley Kuang, Dr. Lyndsay Evans and Dr. Emma Scotchmer) who all went above and beyond to treat Ev with such kindness, respect and compassion. Her family would also like to acknowledge all of the hardworking and caring PSWs and Therapists at CMH who cared for her; specifically, Anastasia and Tracie who comforted her and always gave her a laugh.

Lastly, Ev’s family would like to thank Dr. Robinson and the caring staff (nurses, PSWs, music therapist and many volunteers) at Hospice Wellington in Guelph for taking such great care of Ev during her last two months. The care, kindness and compassion that was given to her will never be forgotten by her family. As an expression of sympathy, the family would greatly appreciate donations to Hospice Wellington at 795 Scottsdale Dr, Guelph N1G 3R8.
