Eileen Jean Alexander (née Stewart), of Glammis, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at the age of 91.
Cherished wife of the late Jim Alexander (September 19, 2021).
Loving mother of Steve (Pat) Alexander, Stuart (Nancy) Alexander, Sidney Alexander, Rick (Patti) Alexander, Randy (Karen) Alexander and Sandra (Kevin) Stewart.
Beloved grandmother of Stephanie, Brent, Melissa, Jenna, Chad, Peter, Tim, Dylan, Craig, Rustin, Kelsey and Krisinda and great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren.
Remembered by her sister-in-law Kathy Stewart and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents John and Mary (née Norman) Stewart, brother Don Stewart and in-laws, Ron (Anne) Alexander, Gladys (Clem) Fisher and Murray Alexander.
Visitation took place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Tuesday, March 8th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., where the funeral service to honour Eileen’s life was held on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Rick Warne officiating.
Spring interment Purdy’s Cemetery.
