Douglas Ronald Mann passed away at his home in Gorrie on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the age of 59 years.
Loving husband for 35 years to Nancy (Baker) Mann.
Son of Ron and Carol (Weber) Mann of Gorrie, and brother of Rob Mann & Sharon D’Arcey of Fordwich, Janice Mann & Tommy Nally of Mullingar, Ireland.
Loved and forever remembered also by Nancy’s family, Diane & Pieter, Linda & John, Janice & Mel, Barb, Sandy, Judy, Debbie & Wayne, Doug, Bruce, Rick, Dan & Mary, Warner & Deb, Ralph & Arnolda, Ed & Karen and John & Gale.
Doug will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Doug was born in Meaford on the 9th of January, 1964. He married the love of his life, Nancy, in 1988.
Doug will be remembered for his warm and enthusiastic laugh, and his love of having a good time with family and friends, whom he loved and adored. As a young boy, he became obsessed with anything having a motor and wheels. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of cars – especially Mopars – and was an accomplished drag racer.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, with Gail Clarkson officiating.
The Celebration of Doug’s life will be held at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion), on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.
