Beloved wife of Harold Wisternoff for 67 years.
Dorothy was born April 30, 1936 in Bulwell, Notts, England. She emigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband Harold. Together they built a life and raised their family in Canada. Since 1964 they have been residents of Perth County, living in the communities of Listowel, St Mary’s, Mitchell and Stratford.
She is survived by her sons Mark (Marianne), and John (Kerry), daughter Elaine (Danny), sister Margaret (Spencer), and granddaughters Kaylee (Tom) and Heather (Daniel).
Dorothy was a lifelong volunteer with many organizations, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels, and Girl Guides. For her service, Dorothy received an Ontario Bicentennial Medal honouring Ontario’s volunteer.
