Donna Ruth (Arthurs) Strong of R.R. 2, Gorrie passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in her 92nd year.
She was predeceased by her husband Stewart Strong, her parents Earling and Vera Arthurs, brother Ross Arthurs, sisters and brothers-in-law Ilene and Art Davie, and June and Walter Lantz, nephew Jeff Davie, and by Stewart’s parents Hartwell and Alberta Strong.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Donna Marie and Roland Bennett, and her sons Robert and Lorraine Strong, and Tom Strong.
Special Grandma to 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and awaiting the arrival of one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral service was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Monday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service.
Interment was in Gorrie Cemetery.
