Dan Ensinger of Durham formerly of Atwood and Monkton passed away suddenly at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton on July 22, 2025 at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of the late Doris Ensinger (2023). Remembered by his siblings Linda Ensinger, Kathy (the late Warren) Carter, Bill (Sherry) Ensinger, Julie (Ted) Donkergoed, Barb (Ron) Listman. He will be missed by his brothers and sister-in-law. Albert (Sheila), Donna, Ella, Betty (the late Bill Baker and George Szucs), Joanne Subject, Sandra Subject, Iola Subject, and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his aunts Wilma (the late William) Cherrey, Pat Donohue, Diana (the late William) Mitchell, Rosemary (the late William “Tex”) Donohue.
Predeceased by his children Sherry, Terry, Janet, and Daniel (1982), his parents Ernest and Elva Ensinger, mother, and father-in-law, Christian and Emma Subject, and grandmother Eva Donohue.
Friends and family were received on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John St Atwood from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at Atwood Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. Rev.
