Peacefully, at Royal Terrace, Palmerston, on Thursday. September 14, 2023, Daisy Irene Campbell (née Mills) passed away at the age of 100. Daisy was predeceased by her beloved husband Morrison in 1981. Loving mother of Dianne Royce. Predeceased by her daughters Susan (2006) and Cindy (1980). Predeceased also by son-in-law, Allan Royce. Cherished grandmother of Brad Royce, Brent (Christa) Royce, Kerri (Deane) Hay, Allyson (Colin) Brouwer, Rachel Lowery and Megan Lowery. Special great-grandmother of Hayleigh and Emily Royce, Dustin Hay and Silva, Merril, and Rudy Brouwer. Dear sister of Evan (Helen) Mills. Survived by her sisters-in-law, Ruth Mills and Ann Mills. Predeceased by her siblings: Elaine Shanks (September 14, 2023) (Bob), Marjorie (Ron) McLean, Lyle, Ellison (Jean) and Edison (Shirley). Predeceased also by in-laws on the Campbell side: Nellie (Alec) Chisholm, Don (Bernice) Campbell and Alma (Fred) Roemmele
Daisy was born in North Ekfrid on October 7, 1922 to the late Charles Mills and Clara (née Sterling).
Relatives and friends will be received at Denning’s of Strathroy, 32 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy, on Sunday, September 17th from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Appin Cemetery.
