Clare Joseph Kraemer of Walkerton passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley, in his 95th year. Beloved father of Mary Ann (Douglas) Gibson of Kitchener, Christine (Jim) Prendergast of St. Catharines, and Kevin (Sandy) of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Ainsley (Alex), James (Alicia), Steven, Christopher (Megan), Elizabeth, Mary (Paige), Noah, Justin and Ryan, and great grandfather of Keira, Leona, Lucy, and Calvin. Clare will be dearly missed by his siblings Alice Slosser and Alan (Betty) Kraemer, sister-in-law Mary Kraemer, all of Walkerton, brother-in-law of Fr. Ed Hinsperger, Walter (Marg) Hinsperger, Virginia (Frank) Reis, Dave (Joyce) Hinsperger, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Angela, brothers Ken (Marie) Kraemer and Jim Kraemer, sister Dolores Briestensky, and his parents Stephan and Louise (nee Oberle) Kraemer.
Friends and relatives were invited to visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Fr. Leszek Szczygiel officiated. Reception followed in Sacred Heart Church Parish Hall.
Spring interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
