Chuck Moss

With loving hearts we remember Charles “Chuck” Kendall Moss of Listowel, who died peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026, after a four year journey with vascular dementia. Chuck was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on December 16, 1938, but spent his formative years in Vancouver, British Columbia where he met his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Caroline (Hay) Moss, his children Catherine & Randy Bauman and David & Mary Moss, his 4 beloved grandsons Andrew and Adam Bauman and Hudson and Anderson Moss and by his sister Betty & Lyall Inglis of Coquitlam, B.C.

Predeceased by his infant son Christopher Charles, his parents Charles and Trudie (Banks) Moss and by his parents-in-law David and Ruth Hay.

Chuck’s love for his family was the centre of his world. He was happiest when he was surrounded by loved ones. There was nothing more important to him than being with his grandsons and cheering on their accomplishments.

Many thanks to the Listowel physicians and nurses for the support that Chuck received over the years and a special thanks to the staff at Highview Residences in Kitchener for the amazing and attentive care that Chuck experienced during the last year of his life.

Following a private funeral service, a Celebration of his life was held at the Listowel Golf Club (8380 Fairlane Road, Listowel) on Wednesday January 14, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be kindly accepted in Chuck’s memory for the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
