Passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Grey Bruce Hospice, Chapman House in Owen Sound, Ontario.
Beth was born 61 years ago in Kitchener, Ontario, a daughter of the late Harley & Ruth (Leiskau) Herner. Beloved and cherished wife of Ken Baer, whom she cherished 41 years of marriage with.
Loving mother of Brandon Baer & fiancée Michelle Thompson, Mark Baer, & Kyle Baer & wife Danielle Baer. Proud & devoted grandmother of Kingston Baer & Harley Baer. Beth will be missed by her brother David Herner & wife Colleen, sister Gail Herner. Brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Rick Baer, Sharon & Jim Reitzel, Dan Baer & Jin-Mei, & Jean & Cliff Klassen as well as by her many nieces & nephews.
Beth was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. Family was very important to Beth & spending time with one another is what she cherished the most. Beth enjoyed her gardens, bird watching, hiking, writing poetry & baking for her family and friends.
Cremation has taken place at Beth’s request. You are welcome to visit with the family on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg.
Beth will be laid to rest at a later date in the Fairmont Cemetery, Baden. As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to Grey Bruce Hospice, Chapman House & can be done through the funeral home website or by contacting the funeral home 519-662-1661.
