Arthur Douglas Poole on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 86 passed away peacefully. Arthur was a member of the Poole Mennonite Church and was a long time resident of Milverton, Ontario.
Art farmed with his father Norman and mother Ruby (Kipfer) Poole until moving to Milverton in 1972. He was then employed with BMV Manufacturing driving truck for many years and then moved on to the Village of Milverton maintenance crew until his retirement.
Arthur was a very social man and kept communication with all cousins and friends. He enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music and playing a fun game of shuffleboard and crokinole.
Relatives and friends were invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 4 – 8 p.m. A Funeral service was conducted at Poole Mennonite Church, 6475 County Rd 121 E, Poole, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Fred Redekop officiating. Arthur was interred in adjoining church cemetery beside his mother Ruby, father Norman and sister Florence who all predeceased him.
